Coping Stratergies

Good and bad days… some words of support!

Just a short blog of captions and images today, been in a cluster of attacks recently and unable to get posts out there! With that in mind for all who suffer with a chronic illness/ disability a few words from me!

I wish you many good and better days! Xxx

This is not always easy to do, I know this myself. I get that guilty stick out and beat myself with it regularly! Feeling less of a mum, as I can’t do what others can, can’t take my children anywhere… my eldest daughter is a young carer! Worrying about the impact on her. I even called her Mum the other day! Unbelievable…. but yes!

The truth is our conditions are not going to improve so we have to learn to cope! C.O.P.E. not beat ourselves up, that is no use to anyone… I’m writing this, as much to myself as to everyone out there.

Embrace and enjoy the good days when they happen, don’t let them pass you by!

I have said in a previous blog, if your not here, you can’t experience the fantastic ore inspiring experiences the future has in store, so grit your teeth, ride the attack rollercoaster of terror if you are a Ménière’s sufferer, deal with the pain in your mind and body and get through because we are SURVIVORS!

Put up with the ignorance, non believers of hidden illness, the remarks, the questions and try and educate… because they don’t matter we do!

This is how I cope, I do what is absolutely necessary when I can… anything else is a bonus…

you never know where you might get to!

If your lucky to have an amazing supportive mum like me, you can get through just about anything!

I love you mum xxx

  1. This condition has made you even stronger . But you are still my little girl, who has turned into my friend as well as my daughter. You are my inspiration to carry on and at times when you are down, I am too.
BUT we WILL get through what ever turns up , You make me stronger too as I see you battle with what has been dished up for you.

You are good and kind AND compassionate and ALWAYS beautiful inside and out.

I AM SOO PROUD of U EVERY DAY my girl. Always here for you . XXX
I love you my first born. XXX
